What you will learn

  • Advanced Studies in Management and Leadership Strategy aims to help people internalize and learn about the most fundamental human dimensions on which the generation of value in organizations ultimately depends.
  • Program participants will work, simultaneously and in coordination, on two complementary levels: (1) the acquisition of the knowledge and information provided by the most recent developments provided by the professors on the topics included in the program, and (2) the personal-individual development required for this knowledge and information to be translated into the transformation of their personal and daily work practices for the benefit of both the individuals and the organization.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to interact with executives from different regions of the country, which will enrich the conversation and experience during the training.

Get to know the curriculum

Module I The Leadership of the Self and the Change of Thinking Models (32 hours)

  • The Foundation of Leadership: Leading oneself and advancing in self-knowledge (16 hours):

Students will have a conducive space for introspection from the viewpoint of self-knowledge as the foundation for conscious leadership development. They will approach the understanding of cerebral functioning and the dimensions of the self as people who impact the context in which they find themselves.

  • A change in the assumptions of the conception of reality. New Models of Thinking and their Impact on their daily life (16 hours):

A review of how people traditionally perceive reality and their relationships with other people, starting with their relationship with themselves, is proposed. In a workshop-conversation exercise, participants build a critical reflection that allows them to understand what is at the basis of their models of thinking and are invited to create an opportunity for new ways of conceiving their place in everyday reality.

Module II Building Effective Relationships (36 hours)

  • Lecture 1: Conscious Organizations ( four hours)
  • Relationships between people: the process of accepting and understanding others in the relationship (16 hours):

The purpose is to share and develop with participants the basic concepts that support organizational communication and its role in effective management. The aim is to create conditions for participants to increase their skills and improve their attitudes toward communication.

  • Leadership as conversation: the art of building conversations to achieve results (16 hours):

An experience of reflection and active experimentation on identifying and generating the most compelling conversations to influence results and create an expansive conversational and emotional climate, with a predominance of positivity, in individuals and work teams.

Module III Generating Healthy Organizations (32 hours)

  • Observation of the Environment (16 hours):

We start from the premise that critical, acute, and sensitive observation is a necessary precondition to understanding several of the phenomena that surround us and to undertaking change: “in the understanding of what we are, there is a transformation of what we are.” With dedication, we will recognize the degree of complexity inherent in three levels (individual, organizational, and social) and the capacity that an individual has to influence them.

  • Conflict as a Reality Susceptible to Change (16 hours):

The aim is to promote a working model that favors a culture of co-creation when dealing with conflicts. This is only possible through building agreements based on deep inquiry and genuine interest in the other.

Module IV Developing the skills to be a Strategic Manager Leader (48 hours)

  • The new dimensions of leadership and how they apply to people and organizations (24 hours) – International Guest Lecturer:

The role of today’s manager is evolving from structuring tasks to developing people and teams by changing the role of leading to facilitating, coaching, and transforming. Consequently, leadership behaviors must address three fundamental dimensions: personal, team, and organizational.

  • Fundamental managerial skills of a GLE and their development (24 hours):

It features an experiential session where students will approach the inquiry and understanding of the managerial skills required for collectively developing conscious leadership, having as a foundation the expertise in the context that will allow them to broaden their understanding of organizations.

Module V Consolidating Organizational Transformation (40 hours)

  • Conference 2: Conscious Organizations

  • Collective intelligence and the construction of knowledge-based organizations (16 hours):

The relationship’s guiding principles that serve as a foundation for generating knowledge in the individual and the organization and the uses of knowledge in daily work are explored. The means conducive to building a digital culture that maximizes interaction are explored without losing sight of the constant awareness of the human being.

  • Organizational Change as a Strategic Focus of Action: Managing organizational change from new paradigms (16 hours):

To generate in people processes of growth in awareness and preparation for personal and collective management of meaningful actions. In this space, it is intended to invite participants to critically reflect on the paradigms that, seen in a renewed way, can help them boost processes in themselves and in the organization they belong to.

Module VI Being a Strategic Manager Leader (16 hours)

  • Being a Strategic Manager Leader I: the process of generating lasting personal and organizational transformations (8 hours):

To show the importance of advancing in self-knowledge as a necessary condition to contribute to the personal development of those who make up an organization so that it can develop.

  • Being a strategic manager leader II: The process of generating lasting personal and organizational transformations (8 hours):

To compile the program’s key elements for strengthening the Strategic Manager Leader that must exist in each participant.

  • Immersion Collective Learning Space (16 hours)

Participants will experience an immersion that enables them to practically and experientially discover the leadership concepts seen in class.

Organizational culture in new contexts (4 hours)
