However, recent developments in the insurance and pension sector together with the rise of new risks have changed the risk management landscape. He holds a PhD in actuarial science and mathematical finance from Tilburg University and was visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of New South Wales. Servaas has published in top journals on behavioral finance and pensions.
