Cuellar Boada<\/span><br \/>\nCorporate governance at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is under review, in order to respond to some concerns that come from some time among non-borrowing and borrowing countries, and more recently because of the way the head of the entity had to be relieved months ago. Reference is made to the need to enhance the IDB\u2019s lending role without a large capital increase, to the responsibilities of the Board of Governors, the Board of Executive Directors and senior management, and to the effectiveness of checks and balances and the observance of conflict-of-interest rules. As an annex, for interested readers, there is an additional section that compares some aspects with the corporate governance of the World
