  • The Master's Degree in Development Practice is more than an academic program, it is a memorable learning experience that offers an environment of opportunity given its links to initiatives such as: The Global MDP Association, Parques Cómo Vamos (Parks, how we're doing? - Academic initiative to generate information about Colombia's National Natural Parks System), the National Environmental Forum, the SCALA Observatory, and the Center for Sustainable Development Goals for Latin America (CODS).

  • The opportunity to take elective courses from the different programs at the School of Management Graduate School, the general University courses, summer courses, and international weeks.
  • The possibility of pursuing a double degree program with the Master in Environmental Management.
  • The Master's Degree in Development Practice and the Master's Degree in Environmental Management share the core courses in the functional areas of management and the key areas of sustainable development.
  • Blended learning, which includes classes in Bogotá on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays every three weeks, and activities through a virtual platform that complement the learning process.

 

Methodologies:

  • The Master use a variety of innovative methodologies to develop students' ability to approach problems from various angles, depending on the learning objective.
  • Practicum/Internship: It consists of hands-on experience, which is the cornerstone of the curriculum. This allows students to contrast and apply skills learned in the classroom in various national or international scenarios and build solid professional networks for their future careers.

 

International experience:

  • The internship period for the master's degree can be carried out internationally through the network of universities that are members of the MDP Global Association.
  • International weeks at universities abroad studying and discussing specific topics of Development Practice.
  •  International Summer School in which we bring professors from the best universities in the world to our classrooms to teach and discuss topics from different management areas.
