Schedule Classes are held Monday to Friday, with some classes held on Saturdays.

Objectives:

Through the Full-Time and Part-Time MBA programs, students will:

  • Gain basic and relevant knowledge in all of the functional areas of an organization for subsequent application in real cases and projects
  • Develop the skills needed for decision-making and the solving of business problems stemming from analysis of the local and international environment, proper questioning, and critical reasoning
  • Learn how to respond proactively to organizational changes and dynamics, as well as to diverse business conditions in general
  • Promote behaviors and practices sustained by ethics and social responsibility in their organizations
  • Acquire the discipline of independent and continuous learning
  • Develop and strengthen dynamics of interpersonal behavior, teamwork, negotiation, effective communication, and leadership
  • Devise innovative solutions that add value in management and business opportunities

Professional Development

MBA students of the School of Management are valued for their extensive knowledge in the functional areas of management and for their administrative and management skills that are a significant asset to organizational success. Both multinational companies and public, private, and nonprofit organizations throughout Colombia, as well as entrepreneurial projects, find in the MBA graduates professionals characterized by leadership and global perspective who are able to develop competitive organizations in an ever-changing environment.

 Full-time MBA students are offered a Career Development Workshop, where experts advise students in order to provide them with access to more opportunities for professional development, equipping them with tools for making business contacts, building a resume, writing cover letters, and conducting interviews.  

 For its part, the Office of Alumni of the School of Management is dedicated to finding job opportunities for MBA students and graduates, offering a variety of services and activities intended to enhance their professional development. The publication of job openings, job fairs, and workshops to build resume and interview skills are highlights of the Office’s many services.
