Corporate governance is a key tool for promoting development and transparency of capital markets and investor protection in the modern age.

Our research takes a theoretical and empirical approach to corporate governance, providing new evidence tothebody of literature on emerging markets generally and in Latin America, particularly Colombia, where institutional and market deficiencies are more evident. It also includes finance issues worldwide, such as the dynamics and determinants of foreign capital investment and the valuation of joint ventures, companies, and project financing.
