From 2020, the Universidad de los Andes School of Management will be one of the seven academic partners of the GLOCAL Erasmus Mundus Joint Master degree program.

This two-year master program analyses the local comparative advantages that have emerged in cities, regions and clusters and are able to compete at a global stage.

The program’s curriculum focuses on the historical and social conditions that fostered remarkable business strategies, public policies and economic development in several regions and cities around the globe. Thus, students will be enrolled in mandatory and elective courses in subjects such as social and economic history, business history and economics.

Enrolled students will start the program at the University of Glasgow. Afterwards, they will pursue one of the seven academic paths offered by the program in the following internationally renowned universities:

  • Universität de Barcelona (Spain)
  • Uppsala University (Sweden)
  • Erasmus University (Netherlands)
  • Göttingen University (Germany)
  • Kyoto University (Japan)
  • Universidad de los Andes (Colombia)

The GLOCAL EMJMD is oriented to young professionals aiming to develop a career in international organizations, multinational companies, international consultancies, creative industries organizations and NGOs.

Application for the 2020-2022 cohort are open until Friday January 10th, 2020.
