History

 

Founded in 1972, the School of Management has been committed to training people to create, analyze, transform, and develop private, public, and non-profit organizations in Colombia and abroad. Recognized as one of the best business schools in Latin America, the School’s excellence and high quality standards have enabled it to achieve significant recognition in the educational sphere.

At the national level, the undergraduate program has received the highest accreditation of quality from the National Accreditation Commission (CNA by its Spanish initials). Internationally, the School is the only one in Colombia to have obtained AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBAaccreditations, placing it in the top 1% of business schools worldwide with the Triple Crown, which is the highest possible recognition in this field.

The School’s facultyis composed of renowned scholars committed to generating knowledge and research in management that has an impactnationally, regionally, and internationally. The School has 57 tenured teachers, all of whom have a master's degree and 56% of whomhavea doctorate.

The School is a member of the most prestigious global networks of business schools: AACSB, EFMD, CLADEA,BALAS, UNICON, GBSN, Executive MBA Council, NIBES, PRME, and AMBA. The School is also a part of numerous international alliances and projects that enhance and enrich its academic profile.
