Budapest University of Technology and Economics (Hungary)

June 13 – June 24, 2016
June 13 – June 24 (6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.)

The course aims to explore and discuss the many facets of emerging, innovative business models and related concepts such as the shared economy (e.g. Uber), micro-financing (e.g. Grameen Bank) and the extensive use of social networks (e.g. Airbnb), which stand behind the success of both an increasing number of start-ups and an array of innovative multinational enterprises. While the special focus of the course is on issues related to sustainability, the skills obtained as a result of the intensive, practice -oriented work during the course can benefit anyone with an interest in business modeling and the potential ways of doing business in the future.
