The School of Management at the Universidad de los Andes focuses on promoting the active participation of renowned professors with significant international experience. For that reason, we have a long tradition of inviting esteemed professors and scholars from prestigious international universities.
This program was created in 1996 with an eye toward sharing knowledge and experience in specific areas of business and management. Through the Silla Corona Distinguished Visitors Program, we invite renowned professors form around the world to come to Bogotá for two to three days. During this time, they conduct seminars and give lectures to students, other professors, and graduates on diverse topics of interest and their personal research. In addition, as part of this program, professor are encouraged to publish their writings in our working paper series, Cátedra Corona. Between 2010 and 2014, more than 65 professors visited the School through this program.
