The main objective of the Immersion Weeks, organized by the School of Management of the Universidad de los Andes, is to provide participants with an understanding of the business environment in Latin America. This is achieved through training in specific topics -selected by the visiting institution- within the fundamental management areas.

In the Immersion Weeks, students from different programs, undergraduate, graduate, or Executive Education, from business schools and universities worldwide, enjoy at Uniandes an experience designed especially for them with a clear alignment in developing the pre-selected topic and organized jointly between the two institutions.

The week is developed with the participation of international professors from the Universidad de los Andes through conferences, visits, and business experiences, as well as panels and talks with corporate leaders from national, multi-Latin, and multinational companies. In recent years, we have had the support of organizations such as Bimbo, Colcafé, Femsa (Coca-Cola), and Frito-Lay, among others.

Accompanying the academic and business experience, the Immersion Weeks are complemented by local, country, and city experiences. Classes can be held at the University’s campus in Bogota, the Caribbean Campus in Cartagena, or other cities throughout the country. Food, music, and dance are some activities available to learn about Colombian and Latin American culture.
