Universidad de los Andes

It was established in 1972 with the mission to educate and train leaders capable of creating, analyzing, transforming, and developing private, public, and social organizations in Colombia, Latin America, and worldwide through acquiring and generating knowledge for the innovative and sustainable development of such organizations.

This objective has led The Universidad de los Andes School of Management to develop a range of undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and Executive Education programs characterized by their academic quality, outstanding preparedness of its faculty, and the recognition of its alumni.

Excellence and high-quality standards have allowed The Universidad de los Andes School of Management to attain the most important national and international recognition. In Colombia, its undergraduate and master’s degrees in management have the highest quality accreditation from the National Accreditation Council (CNA).

Internationally, it has earned and continuously been endorsed by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation granted by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) since 2003; AMBA by the Association of MBAs for the MBA program from 2004, and AACSB by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, since 2010. These three accreditations, known as the “Triple Crown,” are considered the most prestigious and globally recognized, which places the school in the top 1% of the most renowned business schools worldwide. It is the only one in Colombia to receive this triple distinction, and just eight schools in Latin America have achieved this recognition.
