    • Systematic empirical analysis of the rate and direction of technological change to identify potential high-growth and diversification pathways

      Duración: 36 meses

      The overall goal of this research program is to improve our understanding of the process of technology evolution and its impact on industries’ and companies’ growth. To achieve this, I will develop a suite of empirical methods to objectively identify sets of patents representing artifact-based technology domains, link these sets to industry categories, identify key patents and technological trajectories and estimated the growth potential of industries and companies based on a measure of patent centrality in the overall patent citation network.
