Environmental and social issues had been treated as marginal concerns to businesses. Now, there’s evidence that the breach between social responsibility and business strategy is breaking down and corporations are finding a unique opportunity: four billion poor that are at the base of the economic pyramid.
The course ‘Competitive Strategy for a Sustainable World’ explores the nature of the “triple bottom line”: the simultaneous delivery of financial, social, environmental performance.
Students will acquire knowledge to develop strategy models and apply new tools that incorporate principles of environmental management and social performance for innovation and sustainable opportunities.
