Family businesses are the predominant form of business in the world. Almost 98% of Latin American enterprises are family controlled. In these firms, family members significantly influence the business including its creation, continuity, mode, extent of growth and exit.
This course ‘Entrepreneurial Family Firms’ aims to prepare students to work effectively and professionally, in and with family firms, to launch and create cross generational wealth in these firms. Through the course methodology the students will understand what it takes to be an effective entrepreneurial leader and enable expanding networks – a critical skill to develop for all entrepreneurial leaders.
