Deepen your research skills in the multidisciplinary field of management.
Its purpose is to develop students’ research skills using problems of the Colombian and Latin American organizational context, considering that research training should be based on theoretical foundations that allow the student, starting from his/her research question, to position him/herself within the state of the art, the discipline, build models. Moreover, make comparisons in the light of theories in the field.
At the end of the program, the graduate will be able to continue his or her professional career as an academic, researcher, or high-level consultant. Also, they can be homologized to continue with the Doctorate in Management at the School.
The Master’s in Management Research stands out and differs from other programs, mainly by offering an international perspective and flexibility; with this, we talk about:
*International Weeks: opportunity to take a study abroad and in English one or more of the following:
*International Summer School: opportunity to take elective courses in Bogota taught in English by foreign professors from renowned universities.
*Universidad de los Andes has agreements with national and international educational entities to provide academic, cultural, and scientific exchange opportunities that contribute to the integral development of its students.
Yes, a thesis is submitted, which can also be validated with a published paper presented before juries.
It is 18 months long, part-time, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

To study in the program, it is not required to have a minimum level of English; it is only recommended that the candidate has a good reading comprehension of texts in English so that he/she can take better advantage of the course materials, mainly in this language.
The English requirement for the Master’s degree in Management Research includes passing Workshop 2 reading in English or validating the requirement by another option.

TOEFL minimum score of 80/120
IELTS minimum score of 6.5
FCE minimum score of 176
CPE or CAE Level C
Any of these exams must be current.
