Why choose the Ph.D. in Management at Uniandes?

The program’s curricular structure allows the Ph.D. student to enrich his or her research by taking more elective credits. This will be defined with guidance from the respective thesis director.

The Ph.D. in Management program is the only program in the country with a degree component for developing an international internship. The program can meet this requirement because the school have been trained abroad, and the professors constantly publish articles with international researchers, positioning the school’s research at an international level.

The program is recognized in the national academic environment. Graduates of the program have been hired even before graduation and have maintained an average production capacity of one article every two years.

Ph.D. fund to support the academic activities of students.

The Universidad de los Andes School of Management is the only institution in the country with a triple accreditation recognition. It is also the only one with a staff of around 78 full-time professors, 87% of whom have Ph.D. training and are qualified to facilitate the doctoral research process.

The Ph.D. Program is part of EDAMBA (European Doctoral Programs Association in Management and Business Administration), thus allowing direct access to high-quality doctoral programs in Europe.

At the national level, the program has been accredited by the CNA (National Accreditation Council) for eight years, making it the doctoral program in managment with the most prolonged period of accreditation. This accreditation allows it to access funding sources that are only assigned to accredited programs.
