The Entrepreneurship Center of the School of Management of the Universidad de los Andes was created in 2016 in the School of Management. Its purpose is to motivate and support the Uniandina Community and its affiliates in the ecosystem of knowledge and entrepreneurship in building and transforming entrepreneurial processes to generate value and positive impact in Colombia and Latin America.
The practice and research support our methodologies in entrepreneurship conducted by the School of Management and other internationally recognized academic centers we collaborate with (Catholic University of Chile, Tec de Monterrey, Bocconi University of Milan, Babson, Cornell, and MIT).
We create and execute support mechanisms to develop entrepreneurship in the community of the Universidad de los Andes and its affiliates.
For this, the team of the Entrepreneurship Center (EC) bases its work on methodologies such as: Lean Startup by Eric Ries, Disciplined Entrepreneurship: 24 Steps to a Successful Startup by Bill Aulet, and research by entrepreneurship experts from the School of Management and other units of the University.
See the following formula that summarizes our approach:
We train and foster entrepreneurial capabilities: We design and implement mechanisms that facilitate our entrepreneurs’ training, growth, and consolidation through training offers and the support of our network of affiliates.
The Entrepreneurship Program seeks to offer entrepreneurial teams the opportunity to receive support from the University to advance in consolidating the business model and developing real and potential customers.
During this free program, which consists of training workshops and mentoring, the entrepreneurs, with the support of the Entrepreneurship Center of the School of Management, will work on acquiring tools and developing skills that will allow them to strengthen the work team, as well as the product or service they offer.
The mentors you will meet are experts in different areas and will provide advice according to your needs to generate a greater impact on the development of your venture.

The Entrepreneurship Center supports uniandinos entrepreneurs and their teams in developing their projects. This support focuses on the individual and how their socio-emotional skills are essential in strengthening their project. In addition to working on these skills, we promote in uniandinos entrepreneurs their commitment to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. In this way, we encourage creating and building different forms of support based on the training and experience each one has acquired in their journey as an entrepreneur.
From this initiative, we have formed the Uniandinos Entrepreneurs Network. This network comprises entrepreneurs who have participated in one of our programs or participated in one of the workshops, activities, or consulting offered by the Entrepreneurship Center.
Below, you will find a sample of our Uniandinos Entrepreneurs:
The Entrepreneurship Center works together with the school and the University faculty and researchers, to develop new knowledge around the entrepreneurial process. They are:
The Entrepreneurship Center (CE) activities would not be possible without the support of specialized mentors who accompany our entrepreneurs on their way to forming high-impact companies. The mentors are:
