The ‘Global Leaders’ program aims to support managers of MSMEs in Colombia to develop their competencies through a comprehensive training that will provide them with the tools to face the current challenges in their organizations.

The training period is three (3) months. 

*The start dates and/or training period may be modified according to the availability of places.

The program is certified by the Universidad de los Andes: The program certificate will be awarded to those who pass the program in the eClass platform with a final grade greater than or equal to 3.0.

Module in Finance: principles and applications

Asynchronous: 9 hours (3 Und. Platform)

Synchronous: 2 hours

  • Accounting as a business model

  • The analysis of the viability of the company, managing a business model.

Digital Marketing Module

Asynchronous: 9 hours (3 Und. Platform)

Synchronous: 2 hours

  • Origin, principles and general rules of Digital Marketing

Talk on Innovation Ecosystems

Synchronous: 2 hours

Talk on Sustainability

Synchronous: 2 hours

Admission Process

    1. Verify if you meet the requirements to enroll in the program.
    2. Fill out the pre-enrollment form. El link no va 
    3. Wait for the mail with the evaluation result of the form.
    4. Formalize enrollment by sending the required documents in the requested time.
    5. Once the documents have been received and verified, your formal registration into the program will be confirmed.

Requirements for registration:

  • The participant must be a manager, director, or coordinator of an MSME (Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises) in Colombia.
  • Colombian companies that are classified as MSMEs. According to Decree 957 of 2019
  • Companies with a minimum of one (1) year of incorporation as of the start date of the announcement.

Note

  • Only one participant per company will be admitted.
  • 850 places available.
  • All documentation received will be evaluated with respect to the start date of the announcement, i.e., September 5, 2022.

Documents required for registration:

  • Certificate of Existence and Legal Representation Renewed up to 2022 and less than 30 days of issuance.
  • A letter signed by the accountant or tax auditor of the company accrediting its business size (Micro, small or medium enterprise) (Decree 957 of 2019).
  • Copy of the professional card of the accountant or tax auditor.
  • Certificate of antecedents of the central board of accountants with the date of issue not older than three (3) months from the accountant or statutory auditor.
  • Current Single Tax Registration dated 2022.
  • Copy of the student’s ID card in the program.
  • Letter of commitment signed by the student guaranteeing that he/she commits to completing the program.

Can you change the dates of the schedule?

The training period is three (3) months, starting in January 2023. The start dates and/or training period may be modified according to the availability of places. The exact start date of the program will be informed in a timely manner through the means provided at the time of registration.

What type of certificate will I obtain?

The digital certificate is issued by Universidad de los Andes and is granted to those who pass the program in the eClass platform with a final grade greater than or equal to 3.0.

What are the class schedules like?

The duration is 48 hours, where 36 hours are asynchronous virtual personal work and 12 virtual synchronous hours. For synchronous classes, dates and times will be informed in a timely manner.

Managers, directors, or coordinators of MSMEs in Colombia.

What are the requirements to enroll?

  • The participant must be a manager, director, or coordinator of an MSME in Colombia.
