Deepen your research skills in the multidisciplinary field of management.
Research training must be based on theoretical and methodological foundations. Starting from their research question, students must position themselves within the advanced discipline, build models and make comparisons in light of other theories within the field. Thus, the program provides the fundamental knowledge of Management, as well as the methods and instruments that allow the generation of new knowledge in this discipline.
In line with the University’s philosophy, the program develops methodologies based on students and their research interests. In this way, it is essential that the person learns with active participation, understands the theory, and develops analytical skills when confronted with the different management paradigms.
The case study methodology covers different management areas under real situations, thus developing critical and analytical thinking and communication, argumentation and persuasion skills.
In these lectures, concepts, theories, and experiences are presented through keynote presentations supported by readings assigned to the students, which allow a basis for knowledge and exchange of information. The best use of these lectures assumes a previous and deep preparation on the part of each student.
Through this, students work independently and in groups, accessing knowledge and experience by studying readings, researching, and preparing exercises and materials with guidelines provided by professors.
Self-learning methodology is based on executing science and not receiving it; in this way, the student is the protagonist of his/her learning process and that of their colleagues.
