This summer 42 graduate and 14 undergraduate students from Universidad de los Andes School of Management participated in the BABSON Entrepreneurship Seminar delivered at Babson College (Wellesley, Massachusetts). The graduate students attended the program from July 22nd to July 26th. Fourteen of them were students from the MBA program, seven from the Executive MBA, six from the Master in Marketing, six from the Master in Finance and eight from the Specialization programs. The undergraduate students attended a two-week Entrepreneurship program, from July 15th to July 26th.
Courses were delivered by a varied group of faculty ranging from successful entrepreneurs, CEOs and professors. The diversity of the teaching faculty and the innovative teaching methods used, provided unique perspectives and entrepreneurial aptitude that enriched the student´s learning. Students developed entrepreneurial thinking and strong negotiation skills in different sessions such as: Managing Growing Businesses, Marketing for Entrepreneurs, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Business Model Innovation, Entrepreneurial Finance, Corporate Entrepreneurship and Operations for Entrepreneurs.
Students were able to share experiences and enhance their intercultural skills by working jointly in a final entrepreneurship project with participants from Universities such as: ESAN, EAE Business School and Anahuac. Graduate and undergraduate students were joined by professors Andrés Guerrero and Rodrigo Britto who evaluated student’s work jointly with BABSON’s faculty.
