Ph.D.

The program consists of four axes: the first two are thematic axes that constitute the theoretical and methodological foundation of the discipline. The remaining two are focused on training for research activity in the respective topics of Management:

• Basic Cycle: considering that the program is open to professionals of any discipline, at this stage, the fundamental knowledge in Management is provided, having the organization as the object of study. Upon completing this cycle, the student will understand the basic principles of the discipline formation.
• Research design: This axis aims to provide the student with the logic of scientific knowledge while offering knowledge in quantitative and qualitative methods and tools, all under the scope of research in management and the problems derived from it. Upon completing this cycle, the student will be able to justify the selection of methods and tools for developing his/her research.
• Basic professional or in-depth study: the objective is to provide the student with specialized knowledge in the relevant topics for developing his/her research. Once this cycle is completed, the student will have acquired the necessary knowledge to develop research in the area of his/her interest.

Research development: in this axis, the doctoral candidate will have the space to develop his/her research work. The student will define the type of research he/she wants to develop, one focused on generating knowledge in the field or research aimed at solving organizational problems in the business environment. At this point of the program, the student and doctoral candidate knows the different research paradigms and the conflict between them and has the theoretical and methodological foundations and instruments for developing research.
