Supply Chain Management & Technology

The academic area of Supply Chain Management & Technology of the School of Management of the Universidad de los Andes is involved in creating and transforming knowledge in the fields of research, teaching, and corporate relations related to this area. The research addresses various design, analysis, and performance improvement issues of supply chains in emerging market contexts. Also, it contributes to teaching the various courses related to the subject in the different programs offered by the School. With the Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, the first program of its kind in Colombia, the academic area is strongly committed to training leaders in this field. Consulting and Executive Education projects with private sector organizations (oil industry, health, maritime logistics, among others) and public organizations (e.g., IDB, iNNpulsa) support the guarantee of the practical application and relevance of the knowledge generated by our staff and faculty.
