Eduardo Wills Herrera

Eduardo Wills holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and a Master’s in Management from Tulane University, New Orleans, USA. He obtained a Master in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

He is a Specialist in Regional Development from Cider-Uniandes. Civil Engineer from Uniandes. His main lines of research are related to the notion of subjective well-being in organizations and society. Eduardo has also articulated this concept in the discussion on sustainable development.

As part of his study on the relationship between organizations and society, Eduardo has researched the concept of the organizational field in sectors such as culture and music. In his studies on organizations and society, he has been interested in understanding how a conflictive environment such as that of Colombia influences organizational forms. He is also very interested in the reinsertion of ex-combatants into organizations.

Eduardo worked at the National Planning Department DNP of Colombia. He was Director of Cider at the Universidad de los Andes and previously worked in the Colombian Government as Director of the National Rehabilitation Plan PNR and the Mission for the Moralization of Public Administration in the Presidency of the Republic. His teaching is focused on issues of organizations and society in the MDP and MGA of the School of Management and on Colombia and its Institutions at the undergraduate level.
