You will be able to acquire knowledge and tools that guarantee a strong performance in negotiation processes benefiting the companies and different actors involved with them. Learning through innovative methodologies:

Application of active and innovative methodologies that enrich the learning process in the classroom, such as PBL (Problem Based Learning) and POL (Project Oriented Learning), in which the student applies the learning acquired during the course to concrete situations.

The School of Management develops in its programs different methodologies to achieve the learning objectives, such as:

  • Masterclasses
  • Case studies
  • Problem Based Learning
  • Workshops:
  • Collaborative Learning
  • Simulation games

Masterclasses:

They focus on theoretical approaches that professors enrich with examples, thus enhancing students’ understanding of the subject matter.

Case studies:

Both national and international case studies are conducted, allowing the student to cover different areas of the organization under real situations through interaction with peers and professors, developing critical and analytical thinking and communication, and argumentative and persuasive skills.

Problem Based Learning

Knowledge is acquired through questioning, framing it to a specific problem so that the student absorbs it into his or her mental structure. This methodology transfers previous learning to new situations, and research is applied to management processes.

Workshops:

Through active learning in practical exercises, the strengthening of the participants’ abilities and skills in topics vital to management is facilitated.

Collaborative Learning:

In different courses, students must work in teams supporting each other to carry out projects and reports. They must search for information, analyze concepts, reach conclusions, and make decisions.

Simulation games:

Expose participants to exercises to generate a strategy and design the different mechanisms and tools to develop and control implementation. The student understands and assesses the risks inherent in the decision-making process. Management simulation software allows for effectively integrating and considering most of the areas of an organization, their interrelationships, and complexities at the time of implementing a strategy.

Seminars:

These spaces aim to complement the formative process by bringing the student closer to the knowledge and experience of professors, business and trade leaders and recognized experts.

Challenges:

Using PBL and learning methodology, students work on a project in a company that aims at integrating knowledge and opportunities. This is accomplished through a framework emphasizing systems thinking, sustainability and leadership. These teaching experiences focus on complex problems and confront students with real situations and dilemmas to develop leadership and decision-making skills.
