Alumni Specialization in Negotiation
This program enhances students’ ability to plan and carry out negotiation processes that generate value for stakeholders and constructively address problems arising from human interaction. This includes both the organization and its stakeholders.
During the five cycles of the program, the theoretical knowledge necessary to understand the dynamics of negotiations and learn to manage them strategically and ethically is provided.

A curriculum aimed at developing professional competence based on a solid conceptual foundation, developing skills, and incorporating ethical analysis in the field of negotiation.
A balance between tenured professors and associate professors who contribute complementary perspectives due to the diverse aspects of their training and experience.
Students have the opportunity to take elective courses from the Graduate School of the School of Management or other graduate programs at the Universidad de los Andes.
Active and innovative methodologies that enrich the learning process.
Our students can participate in international university business competitions in different parts of the world, for example, in “The Negotiation Challenge.”
The Specialization in Negotiation program is designed for professionals with at least two years of work experience, with a high motivation to strengthen their own capabilities and competencies to face challenges and achieve goals through leading negotiation processes in different areas of an organization and with different actors (customers, suppliers, work teams, internal customers, shareholders, peers, subordinates, support areas, other organizations, communities).
The Specialization in Negotiation Alumni:
Will understand the problem, context, and possible consequences of negotiation to design and implement strategies with an ethical and long-term perspective.
Recognize aspects of the individual and his/her relationship with others that can enhance or limit his/her negotiating skills.
Identify and apply forms of effective communication in the negotiation processes.
