During the meeting, the School welcomed four new members from academia and industry: Fernando Gómez, Director of Runway and Spinouts at Cornell Tech; Kristin Hull, Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Nia Impact Capital; Luz Stella Murgas, President of the Colombian Natural Gas Association (Naturgas); and Francisco Pérez-González, Dean of ITAM. Daniel Traça was also reappointed for an additional term.
The diversity of their professional backgrounds strengthens the strategic perspective of the Board by bringing together expertise in technology, entrepreneurship, impact investing, sustainability, public policy, and higher education. It also reflects the School’s commitment to fostering innovation, promoting the integration of knowledge across disciplines, and strengthening collaboration between academia and the private sector to address the global challenges facing management education.
During this new term, the IAB will continue supporting the implementation of the School’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, with a particular focus on the following priorities:
- Strengthening the connection between academia and practice.
- Maintaining the competitiveness of the School’s academic portfolio.
- Enhancing the School’s international positioning and marketing strategy.
