“Fake news” about the exchange process

I. Being part of a student group within the university does not mean you are automatically selected to participate in an exchange program.

II. The academic rank of the professors (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) who write your recommendation letters does not influence the decision of the Exchange Committee. What matters is that both professors belong to the Faculty of Management, have been affiliated with it for at least one year, and that one of them holds a full-time position.

III. Your GPA alone does not determine whether or not you are selected. Other factors are also evaluated, such as recommendation letters and the motivational video.

IV. Finally, remember that if you have already participated in an exchange or a double degree program, you can apply again.

V. If I select only one university option, will I be given priority in the selection process? No. Priority is based on the three evaluated criteria (GPA, Video, and Recommendation Letters). That’s why it’s important to always select three options.

VI. If I go on exchange, will I fall behind in my studies? False. If you go on exchange during your final semesters, you can transfer elective credits.
