International Perspective

We have multiple options that adapt to the possibilities of our students.

International Weeks: opportunity to take one or more of the electives overseas and in English through courses designed in an exclusive agreement with a world-renowned university. In recent years our students have attended the London School of Economics (U.K.), Babson College (USA), and Kühne Logistics University (Germany).

International Summer School: opportunity to take elective courses in Bogota taught in English by foreign professors from renowned universities in Europe, North America, and Asia.

Soft Skills Development

Learning experiences are designed to develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills throughout the program.

Flexibility

The Part-Time MBA allows you to delve deeper into the areas of your interest through the different elective courses.

Multidisciplinary

Permanent interaction with professors and students of the programs within the Graduate School of the School of Management and the University.

Seminars

The objective of these updating spaces is to complement the formative process by bringing the student closer to the knowledge and experience of professors, business and union leaders, and recognized experts.

Diverse Methodologies

  • Masterclasses, workshops, and seminars
  • Case studies: the Universidad de los Andes School of Management is the strategic partner of Harvard Business Publishing for the review and development of pedagogical cases in Latin America.
  • Problem Based Learning (PBL): knowledge acquired through questioning, problematizing it so that the student incorporates it into his or her mental structures. This methodology incorporates the opportunity to investigate and transfer previous learning to new situations.
  • Simulation: participants face the exercise of generating a strategy and implementing the different mechanisms and tools to advance and control its execution in a scenario that mimics real life.

Leadership development process:

Students participate in a personalized assessment at the beginning, middle, and end of the MBA. In accordance with the Leadership Compass model, a leadership model specific to the School of Management with definitions and results by areas of responsibility that provide clarity on the process to be followed during the MBA and for life.
