The Specialization in Market Intelligence strengthens students’ data analysis skills that support strategic marketing decision-making based on applying analytical research tools that allow them to understand the consumer and market dynamics comprehensively.

Skills you should have as an applicant:

Approximately 40% of the academic credits can be validated with the Master’s Degree in Marketing.

Students have the opportunity to take elective courses from the Graduate School of the School of Management or other graduate programs of the Universidad de los Andes.

International experiences through: international weeks abroad and International Summer School, in which we bring professors from the best universities in the world into our classrooms.

The Specialization in Market Intelligence Program is for you, if:
  1. You want to use information in marketing decision making, such as segmentation of a market and positioning of a product or service within it, to get maximum benefit from the resources of the organization.
  2. You need to develop skills in the management of analytical and technological tools that allow the organization to take maximum advantage of the information resource.
Entry profile

The Specialization in Market Intelligence program is designed for professionals from different disciplines interested in acquiring knowledge and tools for marketing decision-making.

Requirements:

  1. Professionals with at least one year of work experience.
  2. Applicants are professionals from different disciplines working in different sectors of the economy and industry.
Exit profile
  • Is a professional who uses information to identify the implications of an organization’s decision from an ethical, social, economic, and environmental perspective. 
  • Is a professional who will analyze relevant information for decision-making according to the context, knowledge, and market intelligence tools. 
  • Is a professional capable of communicating his or her ideas effectively.
